Acts 2:46–47, They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved. (MSG)
In this sermon we look at the result of Pentecost, which is to become effective witnesses for Christ. When we are around those that are unsaved, do they like what they see? We need to let them see our light shine and our good works and let them like what they see. And if they don't like what they see, that's their problem, we need to keep our eyes focused on Jesus and not get offended if they don't accept Christianity. Pentecost empowers us to witness to people, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to demonstrate signs and wonders.
